School

Hi. I'm at school in computer class and I don't think i'm allowed to be on here with it. so bye :)

HOLY MARCHING BAND!!!!

In case you haven't noticed....it's been like a month since I last posted. I have a perfectly good explanation as to why and it only requires two of my favorite words in the world...Marching Band! The past month for me has been filled practices, games, exabitions, etc. all for marching band and the only word I can describe it with is INSANE!! It's sooo fun but it also takes up alot
of my time--sometimes 4 or 5 hours a day--so I guess it's good that I love it. My favorite experience from the last football game was when we fit about 12 band geeks (yes, including me) under one umbrella. It was pouring buckets and we were all soaked even though we had raincoats. Anyway, we found an umbrella and were sitting in the stands waiting for the game to start underneath it, and believe me, there aren't many entertaining things to do under an umbrella for half an hour. It turned into a bonding moment with my fellow band geeks and I'm glad it rained for a couple reasons. One is that I got to know my buddies better and the second reason is that my hair looks really cool when it's drenched! I gotta go do a "photoshoot" with my band so see ya later!

Very Busy Week!!

Hello! So this is probably the only time this week that I will have a chance to blog to you so I guess I will. Later today Emily, Bethanie, and I will hopefully go around town and find some cool new places to get band pictures! Tomorrow I'm going to participate in our marching band's debut for the season. Wednesday Bethanie and I have our music lessons and I'm going to finally perform at the 209 Coffee House! Thursday is a school shopping day with mommy and I have a doctors appointment. Friday I'm taking a break and going to a back to school party with Emily and her youth group! :) And finally, Saterday I'm getting my "Stella" haircut, probably taking band pictures for Ashlyn Sound, and rehersing a song with a local singer for church! Phew! Wish be luck!

Hi Bloggers!! It's about 11:30 PM here and the reason that I am blogging to you is because.....I'm bored out of my mind and have nothing to do :) haha. So I'm just sitting in my living room with my mommy listening to some Shelby Barnachea with her. It's so wonderful to think "Ahhhh, this is the first night in over 2 weeks that I can and WILL stay up late and sleep until noon the next day!" I'm going to miss summer so much but I am still determinded be a lazy teenager as long as possible before sophmore year starts! Another event that is coming up before school starts is the Little League parade in Williamsport that I'm going to be in for the MAHS marching band. (Remind me to write about my band camp adventures soon by the way!) I'm also going to get an epic haircut the week before school starts but shhhhh, I want to surprise my friends at school with it on the first day! Anyway, I'm going to go read a little bit before I get too tired. Goodnight!

Christina Grimmie

Hello readers! If you haven't noticed yet I have just changed the artist on my video bar to the lovely and talented Christina Grimmie! Miss Grimmie is one of the most successful and popular youtube artists that ever was and if you ask me, for good reason! She's a great pianist, has an amazing voice, not to mention she's one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. So when you ever get the chance I would totally check out some of her videos.

Happy summer!!

Hola fellow bloggers. I haven't posted anything for a while because I've been so busy so far this summer! However, it's been pretty fun. I love being with friends more often and not worrying about school work. I've been sooooo lazy though! haha spending many days sitting in my room working on new songs and writing and playing guitar. It's been great to play in front of people as well. Lately I've been trying to find open mics at coffee houses and stuff like that. I found one that I plan to attend regularly because the crowd is great and the atmosphere is really fun and laid back. Anyway, that's how my summer is going so far. How's yours?

Marching Band!!

I'm very happy to say that I'm officially a part or the MAHS marching band! :) I'm not sure how long it's been since the last time there was a guitarist in the band but apperently it's going to be alot of pressure because everyone excpects me to be amazing lol. Oh well, so far it's a blast. The only problem is that I have to march in time and even with the snare drum helping me, I have pretty much no sense of rhythm. Also, the upper-classmen are intimidating -not that they try to be lol. Other than marching band, school has been alright. Yesterday I presented a song that I wrote about Romeo & Juliet to my English class. All things considered, I guess it went well, except my voice squeeked because that song was too high, but that's a whole other story. It's a good thing I really like music.
